Hey howdy hi everyone,
I’m elbow deep in a ring and pinion replacement and noticed some odd wear on my short axle shaft and checked the inside of my carrier to find the teeth all mucked up.
It looks like it got loose some how and had too much play.

The long side is undamaged.

I just cut off the bearings and really don’t want to move forward until I figure this out. I’m hoping to be able to take apart the locker enough to change the side gears out then get some new axle shafts. I found this which seemed to be the only option.

To make things more tricky there doesn’t seem to be a part number for just the side gears. Really would like to not have to buy a whole new carrier/locker.
Does anyone know if there is an option to just buy some side carrier gears?

Or does anyone by chance have a set they would be willing to part with?

Son of a gun, looks like I’ll have to try my hand at locating a used parts locker.

Any chance anyone has a lead? Daveys has nothing from what I saw 🙁

I’ve been searching around and read that I could also throw a front locker in there. Thoughts?
