Howdy Jeepers,

Has anyone performed an axle swap with coilovers, without taking measurements before cutting everything out?
Well after failing to earn a coilover install degree from Youtube, I just started cutting everything out. Now I'm ready to install and lacking fundamental reference points.

Can anyone provide constructive feedback on front axle alignment?
- Looking for approximate stock front axle center line (not half of axle) relative to frame or even 4.0l crank pulley
- JK Steering and track bar set up with TJ steering box

Is the newer axle (with masking tape on steering) in the right position?
It's near full bump.

The control arms and track bar determine the axle position and travel arc.

The coilovers determine the ride height and the limit to up and down travel.

If you didn't chop out the control arms and track bar, then you can position the axle and know it's travel arc.

From there, you can mock up a ride height and begin locating the upper and lower CO mounts based on the travel bias from ride height.
