Serpentine belt squeal/ fan pulley

2001 2.5. No AC. Loud squeal from one of the pulleys started after changing manifold gasket. While the PS pump was off I bought a new belt. After installing now have a pretty loud squeal. I've adjusted the idler pulley so there is about 1/4" deflection in the belt. Removed everything...checked both idler pulleys and they feel and sound fine. Its seems like the noise is coming from the fan pulley. Its there a replacable bearing? It happens when the engine is cold. After heating up for 10 minutes the noise stops.

Not too familiar with the way a '01 2.5L is set up, but if the noise is coming from the fan pulley; is the fan pulley attached to the water pump shaft as it is on other engines ?
IF it is... then the water pump bearing is going bad and you will need to replace the water pump before the shaft seal lets loose.

I didn't even think about where the water pump is. I'll have to look it up. Thanks

Problem solved. Put the old belt back on. The new belt may have incorrect. It was slightly wider than the original.
