Rough ride

You are like a broken record. We've been over this same thing before, but here you go again.

Let me ask you this. Are you smart enough to tell a jeep that rides rough from one that doesn't?
Do you think that other jeep owners are too stupid to know the difference as well?

I can and I have. And I have been surprised by what some will tolerate because of their preconceived idea of what a Jeep is supposed to ride like. I don't believe it is stupidity, though.

I am truly concerned about you.

How does one choose a spring for the purposes of affecting the ride quality that will have a more dramatic impact than filling up an empty gas tank will?

Why do you include JKS body lift pucks in your kits. That's dumb. And has been known to be dumb for years. My LJ's tub is ruined beyond repair from those.

FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS... against your $1000.00. All you gotta do is show up and prove me wrong. We can make as big a publicized deal as you like out of it. ONE of us will leave in shame.

How confident are you?

Take the bet or keep runnin' your gums. Up to you.

holy shit man.. you're fuckin stupid.. you can't even figure out that you already owe me $1000 but now you owe me $6000..

you're preaching to the wrong choir over here fella. we like facts. you have yet to provide even one..

cmon tox.. it's not dpg's fault, this is the super ultimate kit! you obviously didn't get the right spring rate in the body lift pucks..

The higher rate the better, so the bolts can be tightened correctly. I like aluminum nowadays. 🤫

This whole time @DirkDPG you've been talking about how you can tune this ride with springs, yet the OP is running your kit and discussing harshness. Did you send them out your tuned springs to prove your point?

If you follow the thread, you would see that the OP is indeed swapping rear coils. We are awaiting his report to see if the ride improved, although I wouldn't blame him if he doesn't post. Will everyone tell him (like so many others) that he doesn't know what he's talking about if he says his ride got better?

What coils did you swap to and how do you determine which are needed? Or is this a trade secret?

Figure out your test and what conditions prove your theory right or wrong. I don't want your money, but right or wrong I want you to cover for making @LJtheunicorn 's Jeep ride well.

I'll be passing by you next month.

Like I said, I can prove my point beyond a shadow of a doubt. Everyone wants to talk, but no one has the confidence to step up and take the bet.
If I was as confident as these guys SAY they are, I'd put my thousand up against 5 grand in a heartbeat!

All I'm hearing is talk.
Think about it. No one wants a paid $5k vacation to put this issue to bed once and for all? Really? REALLY?

Do you watch CNN? The gaslighting here is on a whole other level!

Are you telling me that the holes in my tub aren't real? That I'm not strong enough to tighten the body mount bolts? That I can't measure properly to see that an 1.25" polyurethane body lift is less than an inch and varies puck to puck?

Now I'm concerned about you and your 20-something years experience selling Jeep parts.

What are the conditions? How do you determine if they get your $5,000 or you get their $1,000 other than "because I say so"?

He had 2942's in back. Currently running light- soft top, no spare tire. Not planning to carry anything heavy. I sent him a pair of lighter rate 2941 coils and some spacers to play with to sit it where it was before.

BTW- we are talking about a 20lb spring rate difference here, which has been stated to be impossible to tell the difference between.

The difference between our lightest OME coils and our heaviest on a stock LJ is dramatic. That's why I made a high dollar bet. But then, I KNOW this because I've been working with the product for 2 decades.

Yeah, you're right. What do I know. Only installed hundreds of the JKS body lifts as well. Never had a single issue.
Surely your situation must be the more truthful one. After all, it couldn't be installer error, ehhh?

That way I understood it is that CNN has the answers to that question...? 👀

Have you seen 28 Days on Netflix? You probably need to be locked in a garage with your Jeep for 28 days to break down the barrier between what your Jeep wants you to see and what's actually going on. 👻
