I will be putting a 4 inch lift on my 2000 Jeep Wrangler and the current plan is to put 35 inch tires on. I was wondering what off set everyone recommended to prevent rubbing. If anyone had recommendations for tires also I'd appreciate it!

Good thing there no metric fasteners anywhere on a TJ :)

What could be more USA than Jeep? (at least before the creation of DaimlerChrysler AG in May of 1998)...

Daimler made a mistake, as you know. Terrible financially for them. Plus, metric. 😆 Actually, I do t know about that, but I believe it was the Nixon administration when Congress enacted a Metric Act that tried to implement metric in the DOT and there’s now ONE highway in America that has road signs in metric. It didn’t take. 🤣

4 inch lift with 35's. I've got 4.5 inches of backspacing but the tires are 11.5 not 12.5. (Nitto Trail Grappler Tire in 35x11.50R17LT (C Rated)). The combo works great for me in NH, where you'll fail inspection if the tires stick out too far from the fender flares. No spacers and very little rubbing at full turn.

Offset is for metric people. Metric people could use a good foot in the —-.

Unfortunately, the new oem wheels are speced in offset, so you need to know how to go between backspace and offset to get where you need to be.

The road into Bush Intercontinental Airport has signs in MPH and KPH.
