Replacing the stereo in 05 Wrangler Sport

sorry for bumping this topic again, i just wanted it documented in case someone looks at this in the future; the issue with the sub not working was because the factory amp needs the solid blue power antenna wire (from the vehicle harness) hooked up to the blue/white continuous power wire from the radio harness. if you have an aftermarket amp, it would have its own c. power wire to run to the radio, but the factory amp needs to use the solid blue wire to tell the sub to turn on.

So to enable the factory sub with an aftermarket radio you need connect the blue per antenna wire to the blue white wire on the factory harness and the sub will work? Is that correct? Thanks for the help!
