Replacement clear sheild in instrument cluster bezel?

The clear plastic sheild that protects the dashboard guages in my '99 Sport has a crack down the middle. In researching a replacement, I can find replacement instrument cluster bezel's, but it's obvious that they include the clear plastic as well.

Has anyone had to replace theirs, and if so, can you recommend a parts source?

Like many discontinued parts, OEM is hard to find. There is one on Ebay and it's not cheap. Unless you are restoring your Jeep I'd just grab a used cluster and salvage the lens. If you want a NOS here is the listing.

Yikes. You are right. That price seems very excessive, just for the lens.

Thanks for the tip on finding a full used cluster.

Get a used one and some plastic polish.
