Repeating P0340 code

I have learnt to live with it. I bought an OBD scanner and clear the code whenever it lights up :ROFLMAO:

Maybe I will go with PCM replacement when the code shows up every time I crank up the beast. As of now, the code shows up every 3 weeks or so.
It didn't show up for 6 months. It got cold and now is every day, and in limp mode. My odbii scanner won't erase the code either. Trying to find a Mopar sensor now. That seems to be the main fix. They are discontinued though.

Welp, I bought another sensor. So far one day of it not throwing a code on a cold morning. I'll be back when this one stops working too. The brand was "Standard" from O'reilly's. I had to give them an actual part number. Trying to get a sensor from them pulled up the totally wrong thing.

I have the same P0340 issue but when I reached out to replace with Napa CSS1159 CPS I realized that my 97 needs a different one and I also got some pieces of this rubber melted in there. Does anyone know what’s this called - if I need a replacement. Please advise.

My issue details here:
