Hello all
On a 2006 TJ how do I remove the rear right taillight? Left side is easy, but right side i can't figure out how to access the nuts on the back of the 3 studs?

Did your nuts break free of the body? If you need to get back there you need to move the liner (if you still have it) and either be able to reach up with a wrench or move your evap canister for better access.

From the factory, the three taillight bolts are threaded into extruded holes in the body sheet metal. You access the bolt heads from within the taillight housing. There are no nuts to remove.

If someone drilled out the body threads and used nuts and bolts, then you get to remove the emissions system from the right rear corner.

Yikes! Previous owner put cheap LEDs. The bolts are just spinning freely so I assume there is a nut on the other ends. Thanks for the comments. I will start dismantling to get at them
