Trying to add some cages to my rear taillights. So it looks cool, because if you don't look cool what's the point right? Anyway, the design requires you to disconnect the power and run it through the cage. Driver side is fine, but the passenger side seems to be either hung up on something. See the photo, that's the furthest I can pull it out, the wiring connector is still inside the body.

Any tips on what this could be caught on, or getting this out? Or is it normal that the passenger side is so chort? I really do not want to cut the wire, but can't find any access beyond this little hole in the back to get at it another way.

I just installed new connectors for my both my taillights and I had to reach around from underneath for the passenger side.

If you're trying to look cool though you probably don't want cages, just my .02 😉

When you say reach around from underneath (giggity), do you mean through the wheel well? I can't see anything down there, unless I need to remove other parts.

Never mind, I figured it out. There's a little flap you can pull out and get to the wiring without having to remove the entire wheel well plastic shield.

Thanks for the help Basket! I'm gonna look so cool now, everyone will want to be my friend.
