WS watching an episode of Naked and Afraid (don't judge me!) And in the very beginning they drove the two fools in to the Jungle on YJs that had long rectangular taillights just above the bumper with the long side horizontal and just above the bumper. The spare tire mount bolted to the very rear passenger side of the tub and bent around the rear. [This is the important part] this allowed the spare tire to sit on the far right backside of the tub giving plenty of room to fit 3 Gerry cans on the left side rear of the tub. They (spare & cans) were up high allowing the taillights to be easily visible below them. Has anyone heard or seen this before? Seems like a perfect solution to the 'overlanding' crowd. Both sides could swing away to the side allowing full and easy access to the tailgate. Looked like they were also short enough to still fully open if there was a trailer hooked up too!
