Had a SAR callout this morning and when I opened the back of the Jeep to load my gear the window refused to stay up so apparently the struts are shot. Pretty sure these are the original ones from the factory. Any recommendations for a good set that will last? Nearest Jeep dealer is 175 miles so I'd just as soon buy on-line. 2006 TJ Rubicon.

Rockauto will have what you need. I know some dont like RA, but considering the likes of Napa and oreileys are so far overpriced I wont even bother. Might as well make them "pick a part" stores.

I've bought various struts for different vehicles from Amazon. Short of one time the length was wrong on my wife's JK.

You can't tell me anything from Rock Auto or any auto parts store isn't just the same Chinese junk rebranded and marked up 1000 percent.

I actually did a lot of research on this and ended up going with the Crown struts from Quadratec. There were enough reviews of the cheaper ones that said they were too strong and broke the glass that I didn't want to chance it.

if I recall correctly the OEM units were Sachs/Stabilus. $31.52 shipped to the middle of Nevada (5% discount code applied) from Rockauto (available from others at at higher cost)
