Going to rebuild my front driveshaft. I was curious about the rebuild kit for the centering yolk versus just buying the whole new centering yolk. Seems the dennys driveshaft kits come with the complete centering yolk. I ordered from rock auto and they only showed the ball rebuild kit. Did i get the wrong part? Photo is example of both parts.

I've rebuilt them. It's a minor pain in the ass but a completely doable process.

I'd order your parts from Tom Woods or Adam's Driveshaft. They're on the west coast. Faster cheaper shipping. I'd just call them rather than use their websites.

I already got the parts from rock auto. Im not in a rush, and if the centering yolk looks bad i will just order it and return the rebuild ball. The shaft is in great condition, the jeep has 36k miles. I just noticed a little play and being its 25 years old i want to rebuild it, rather than have issues.
