Rear seat belts

How are the rear seat belt retractor covers secured? How to get them off.

I’m pretty sure the bolt passes through the hidden side of the cover, so you have to unbolt the thing to remove the cover.

The head of the bolt that screws into the upper fitting on the roll bar is under the plastic cover. Pry it up with a screw driver so you can get a socket on it.

I put the nut on the bolt just to keep the parts together while the belts are out.

Ours need a touch up to look their best and i hadn't looked at them long enough to figure out how to remove them.

Got it - torx bolt inside of doghouse cover -torqued to 10,000 lbs.

...lol..that is about right!

I am in the process of taking all my rear seat belts out to put in a rack...its been torture!
