Asking here because I’ve been a member here longer than any Jk forums and I know the advice is usually pretty good and it’s still a jeep wrangler. Anyway suggestion for the best forum for jks would be appreciated.
Just purchased a jk and I didn’t notice it before I bought it. Anyway you might have to turn the sound up pretty high to hear it. It makes a metallic rattling noise only while pressing the gas peddle. You can hear in the video where I let off the gas and the noise goes away. I don’t hear it under 35 mph and it seems to fade some over 50 but that might just be road noise.
I brought it to a 4wd shop to do an overall inspection and they said it was the u joint connection to the axle. Well that’s not it because I changed it and still heard the noise. I guess my next step is to remove the shaft and go for a ride.
