Random misfire / running rich

The pcm sounds like the culprit. Leaking caps are the cause of 80-90% of the issues with early TJ’s. You can send it to us and we can run it in one of our Jeeps and hopefully repair it if it is the computer.

The computer didn’t get wet internally that I could see. But since a broke the seal on it I bought a new one programmed for my jeep and it still does the same thing. Anyone know what the dark green wire/orange line in the driver side body plug male side is?!

Tested my fuel pressure again, it idles at 45psi but when I jab the throttle it drops right around 40psi should I try and replace it?

Tough one. Are you still chasing the misfire?

My Jeep ran okish on 30 psi but the fuel trims were way up and my mileage was low.

You might also want to find another gauge and verify yours is close to another.

Is the misfire consistently on one cylinder? Which codes are registering?

Maybe throw a CPS at it, again.

I'd certainly verify you have 5v at the CPS plug.
