Question about AC

I ended up sawing off part of my AC line because the quick disconnect tool wasnt working even though it fit. I thought that It was apart of the heater core for some reason. Because i was replacing the heater core I didn't think it would matter. Well, here i am now needing to place yet another part on the jeep because of my negligence. Does anyone know what this part is called?

Those connections go to the A/C evaporator. I'd give you the p/n but you neglected to give any details about your Jeep, like its model year.

Jerry is right, as usual. If you give us the year and engine type of your Jeep, we can give you a part number.

Oh sorry! I was in the middle of blowing a gasket over this thing. its a 1997 TJ 2.5l

For your '97, the a/c evaporator p/n is Mopar 4864999 and Amazon shows three potential replacements at https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias=aps&field-keywords=mopar+4864999&rh=i:aps,k:mopar+4864999&tag=wranglerorg-20

I'd avoid Airtex, I don't know about the even cheaper UAC.
