I have CoverKing seat covers. They were on the Jeep when I bought it. I am looking to get different ones. They do not breathe whatsoever and create lots of swamp ass when its hot outside.

I had been thinking the same about the inside of the hardtop, what did you use ?

Home Hardware, BeautiTone RUST COAT Alkyd Paint. Gloss Black. 3 cans at $5.99.

And prep was just pressure wash the interior.

Yup it does. I tore off that padding a long time ago too. Hang onto the padding if you ever decide to go with a frameless top. It creates a better fit.
