Piss & Moan Table

People are f****** stupid.

The real feel temperature is 103 degrees in the shade plus it's humid. I had to mow the backyard before the grass got to tall for my mower to handle. I was soaked, I used one of those neck fans but I was still dying.

I finished mowing, so I head to the locker room to take a shower. When I get there a guy cranked up the sauna and in he gets in.

I really wanted to ask this guy is it not hot enough for you?

This makes no sense.

So it's time to do routine maintenance on my old yamaha gas golf car. I go on Amazon I got an air filter, spark plug, gas filter, and a carburetor for a dollar less than the same air filter by itself?? (17 dollars)

I tossed the no name spark plug, I only use ngk plugs. I put the new carburetor on the shelf just in case.

I bet that carb and airfilter are just like the "NTK" O2 sensors amazon sells that come in a plastic bag... :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

here's my piss and moan for the day.

Getting old SUCKS. I'm not even really "old", more middle aged? Turning 40 in a couple of weeks.

Flying a desk for most of my career, with lots of computer work, intensifying to exclusively computer work over the last four years, has done a number on my spine. After 4 years of chiropractic care with only short-term success, in 2018 an MRI revealed "large, broadbased posterior disc osteophyte complex" with "moderate to severe foraminal narrowing" at my right C8 nerve root (between C7 and T1, medicalese for bone spurs protruding into the hole that the nerve is supposed to come out through). When it's acting up, I get pain and/or tingling down the ulnar nerve which runs down to the little finger, and the damage caused some lost grip strength. In 2019 found a PT that taught me some "nerve flossing" exercises that when done promptly at the first sign of a flareup, prevent it getting worse and I have no problems for 6-12 months.

Then, a couple weeks ago I had what seemed to be a muscle strain in my right trapezius. It was spasming and every time it spasmed, would kick off that nerve pain BAD. Like couldn't sit still, just pacing around the house bad. Like how you know when it's time to take the family dog to go "live on a farm" because he's in so much pain he just walks around the house all day and night. A couple days of rest, a week of tylenol, flexeril and prednisone and the muscle seemed to mostly calm down, but the nerve pain stayed. Nerve flossing makes it worse. Doesn't seem to bother me if I'm active, but gets cranked up when I'm sedentary. Thought maybe the activity was making it worse but not showing up until the evening, so I try resting a couple of days and then it gets WAY worse.

So I go into a chiro that my mom recommends. Take some x-rays, my cervical spine is shaped like an S instead of a C, and wouldn't you know the part that's bent wrong is right where I have the bone spurs. So now I'm doing 2x a week adjustments and I think I'm getting better, until the night before I'm supposed to leave for a wheeling trip in Colorado and I go get a haircut. Lay my neck down in that sink with my head cantilevered off of it to get my hair washed and I'm back almost where I started before the chiropractor. Can't even think about 40+ hours in a Jeep and sleeping in a hammock for 3 nights so trip is cancelled, and chiro is only open M-W so I've got 5 days before any hope of relief.

Oh, and my truck needs a battery.

Talk to your chiro about attending a Belly Dance class. I'm not joking. We had an older guy in one of the classes I was in who was sent there by his chiro. He never performed or anything, but the class really helped him in his case. There are LOTS of Belly Dancers who got into it in the first place because they had a jacked up back and their doc sent them there. "Consult with your medical professional before starting any new exercise regimen. Results may vary, only your doctor can advise you as to whether or not Belly Dance would be right for you."

I didn't start BD because of a jacked back, BUT, I just happened to have one at the time I started. I showed my Chiro a full body undulation and a couple of other moves, and he said "You keep that up, and you'll NEVER have back problems again." So far, he's been right and that was over 22 years ago.

well that's not what I was expecting to result from my post but honestly it hurts so bad I might be willing to perform if it made it stop and never come back. :ROFLMAO:

I go to the pain clinic for injections in my neck. I have arthritis, squeezing my spinal cord, and a few disc's out of place.

So I really feel your pain. You might want to get injections it really helps.

Performance would be up to you - but a class might help you. Ask your doc. The older gentleman who was in our class told me that his doc said, "If you were a woman, I'd send you to a Belly Dance class". He apparently said that if it would help, he'd go. So there he was. Talk to your doc - it may or may not be indicated for your situation.

I have to laugh at myself: Tonite, I found myself teaching a bunch of women how to dance in skirts - what I call "BAGS", Big Ass Gypsy Skirt. Oh the irony...

My turn. We downsized from a 36' 5th wheel to a 26' travel trailer do to problems with a slide and was basically ready for a smaller travel trailer. We bought the new trailer last year and have issue after issue with it. Today I was trying to set up an oscillating fan in the bedroom section, and found no power to any 110 outlets. We just bought it home a couple of months ago after having the siding coming apart on the driver's side. So back to the dealer today. This trailer has had one problem after another.

The got the same package last year for the golf cart. The carb worked great, the one it replaced was a mess, all gummed up . I know I couldn't take the old one apart with my hands, so I just put the new one on. The air, and inline gas filter looked better than the ones across the street at advanced auto. I just didn't want to try the no name spark plug.

I've tried to not Piss & Moan too much and just haven't felt the need to share here when I have. But right now SHIT is just not working.

Between all the issues I've had with the 6 Pack intake manifold and then the fact that I have to spend another $2K-3K that was unplanned has me at wits end. And here I am looing to spend $600-800 with one company and I can't get a reply from them. Really makes me question if I want to give them my money.

Spent just over $1200 with another company and so far all I've gotten is a computer generated receipt for my order. But nothing else.

3 weeks ago I'd ordered a part from another company and while it was less than $100 it took me 3 weeks of bugging them to finally respond to emails requesting an update on my order.

I'm confused as to when it became customary for businesses to NOT respond to potential customers or current customers? And yes I'm sure most of these businesses get 100's of emails daily but DAMN.

So the owner of the survey company tells us on Friday he is going to do wonders and shit cucumbers. Monday he will call us and send the survey.

Well today, we called because of course he didn't. He wants to know about the final payment. Final payment for what? You mean for the survey I still don't have?

They can f****** whistle they aren't getting anymore money until I get a survey.

Developed an abscess on my upper gum last week. Called my dentist who sent me to an endodontist thinking I needed a root canal. They performed an x-ray on the tooth that I thought was the culprit and said it was infected, but the x-ray is showing a bigger problem on the next tooth. Turns out my canine tooth which had a root canal done 5 or so years ago was infected and had been wreaking havoc for quite some time (never felt a thing). I have quite the amount of bone loss and had to get an apicoectomy. An apicoectomy is where they slice your gum open and fold it over exposing the jaw bone. They clean out the infection, remove the tip of the root of the tooth and then sewed me back up with 7 stitches. All week my face has been swollen including my upper lip and gum (obviously). My wife keeps telling me I look like a dog who has been stung by a bee. Been on antibiotics all week but almost 0 pain, which is good. Downside, my dental insurance only paid for half of the operation ($1400 total) since it was considered "major" Better half then none at all I guess.
