No Costco near me but there is a Sam's Club, and a BJs they both suck. Sam's pissed me off so I dumped them.
The only reason I bother with BJs is because of the gas pumps.
Costco people are worse than Sam's people, and Costco parking lots are worse than Sam's parking lots.
That sucks but free rent is a silver lining! If you ever repair those walls the pro tip is to keep the drywall up off the floor plate by 3/4” or so and cover the gap with moulding. That way if it floods again the drywall can’t act like the sponge it wants to be; you just need new moulding.
thought about taking home the good sized cutoffs (half sheets or larger) of drywall from our drywall contractors at work.. but realistically considering just bringing home the 13yd dump trailer & gutting the walls and making it one big open room. ive already gutted the plywood walled well pump 5x8 room in the back corner being that the house is now on city water.
None of the 2x4 wall studs are load bearing, theres plenty of lally column / jack post under the main beam buried within the walls. The mess of drywall work being demo or finishing really hinders my thoughts on tackling either project though and on top of that, the existing drywall finish work is pretty half assed anyhow.
Walking down a damn grocery aisle, you can tell who shouldn't be out on the road by the way they "drive" their grocery carts. Stopping in the middle of the aisle and blocking it, cutting corners and knocking things over, and bumping into people. Yup. They're the same way on the road. Maybe they should be ticketed right there in the store...
In my many travels over many years, I can tell you that people drive their grocery carts exactly like they drive their cars.
The aisle blockers piss me off to the point of where I will usually say something like "Try a bit harder and you can block the WHOLE fucking aisle." I have little patience with willful stupidity.
Funny thing happened today. I was waiting in the lobby of a four story medical building when a woman came up to me and said Hola.
She proceeded to speak a shit load of Spanish. Just because I have a Puerto Rican daughter in-law doesn't mean this old white guy knows Spanish.
I did understand one word besides Hola it was farmacia. So I pointed to where the Walgreens was, she walked away then turned back laughing said thank you. I guess it dawned on her I didn't know what she was saying.

I have Covid. I just took nyquil so I should be able to sleep a little. I'm running on 2 hours.
My wife and younger daughter took off to the relatives but they are just doing a day trip because the rain they were forecasting has switched to a blizzard forecast.
We had a half inch if rain so far, switching to ice tonight than 2-5" of snow. My inlaws, where they are headed, might get 12-18" out west.
We probably won't be going to my parents tomorrow.
I had to scrounge up my nyquil from the back of the medicine cabinet, so I may need to have some delivered. All I want for christmas is drugs, no coughing, and sleep.

I figured it was some loser who was living with his parents because it's a 55+ community. He was 50 years old, he was killed by a family member.
I know it's one murder but this is a gated community. So it's pretty much unheard of here.
I've yet to be able to drift my TJ like I do the grocery cart around every isle corner and between the produce bins.

Tweens decided to play makeover, blush does not come out of carpet. Even with a carpet cleaner.
Have you tried GoJo original formula, no orange or pumice. We used it on indian ink back when I was still a teen and managed to pull it out of a white carpet.

I’m generally grumpy about having brakes fail on all 3 of our road-going vehicles in the past year. Ultimately I only have myself to blame, but if I’m pissing and moaning and pointing fingers I wish service centers and safety inspectors would “inspect” a little better, and I wish brake system refreshes (disassembly, lube and/or replace pads, rotors and guide pins) were more explicitly prevalent on the maintenance schedules.
