I can guarantee you there are differences in the programming besides just the fact that the pcm locks up the TCC. Before I swapped the 32 in I ran my manual on the 02 auto pcm and it drove like crap. When I would come to a stop in neutral the rpms would drop below idle and almost stall then shoot up. Ran like a dream as soon as I got an automatic transmission hooked up to it.

Yes, I'm certain you are correct. While I don't know what the differences are, there are likely more than just the TCC feature.

Wow I'm shocked.... After all your talking about wanting a stick and now you're talking about jumping ship and going for an auto again. Say it isn't so.
I doubt I’ll end up doing it. If I do, it’s not anywhere on my radar right now. I’ve got PSC to install, outboard shocks, headers, and other stuff to worry about.

Had a phenomenal day wheeling out at Elvis Trail and Box Canyon today with @starkey480, @pc1p, @Pressurized, @DaveC, @RINC, @Jamison C, @Joshuavolt, and several others. There were 12 of us total.

We even had a YJ tag along with us that was driving like a mad man and managed to smash into a rock on the waterfall which snapped his engine mount in half and then took out his oil filter and spilled oil everywhere. He had to get towed out needless to say.

It was completely dark by the time we made it back and one hell of a fun day. I hope you wheel with all of you guys again as I had a blast.

Extremely minimal and nearly flat. Watching where Garrett always here his bumper hung up, this should actually fair a bit better than the Savvy one since it’s basically flat.

A lot of people on here run these rear bumpers and seem to really like them.
Not that it will matter for where you are most likely but the Savvy bumper was designed to stick out just a little bit to protect the body some. It doesn't stick out at the bottom where it matters for clearance. In JV there are several obstacles where a TJ has to back into a hole and jockey around to get lined up. The hole is lined with vertical rock canyon faces that take out tail lights and any unprotected sheet metal. You want some protection at the top of the bumper and high clearance at the bottom which is why it is flush to the frame crossmember at the bottom.

Yeah, he had told me he was going, and I had planned on driving down, but work got in the way.

Everything I designed with Savvy was done to solve a problem. Before the advent of large numbers of installed non stock tail lights, we would kill the stockers on some rig on every trail run. Solution was to build a low profile housing out of aluminum and put a flat panel LED in it when they finally came out with a quality version of the Jeep tail light.

Several trails have spots that will mow the top of the tub belt rail down and you'll need to pry it back up with a flat blade screwdriver to get the top on for the drive home. The answer was to build the tub rails to protect the belt rail.

Weight is always a bad thing, it never helps, so, you want as much protection as you can get for the least amount of weight possible. That is why most of the stuff is aluminum.
