My 2005 LJ :
At work one day and my check engine light came on'
Scanner said all 4 O2's were bad...all at once.
BS somewhere in there.
Took it to my mechanic and was told I need a new OCM because his Unit could not erase my Codes.
Jeeper self me had ordered a 4 piece kit of o2 sensors.
These were installed before I went to my Mechanic.
So I find that aaaI actual shoule have gotten NKG sensors;
I checked my PCM and It had been flashed some time in the past by a well known PCM company. Did not want to do that again.
Them one of our site members told me about Wrangler-Fix.
Called Mark Cantrell at Wrangler fix and got all my questions answered.
Ordered the PCM from Mark and ordered the correct o2 sensorsl
Here is he cunbass part:
Installed the new PCM and o2's
And strted getting all kind of weird Codes and the jeep had random missfires and camshaft sensor on and on and on.
Called Mark about it. Well my PCM was installed in Marks o5 and it tested OK, then was sent to me.
I said that my 4 PCM plugs were loose and by wiggleing them I would lose a code on create a new one.
Turns out my PCM cables were not locked in. After wiggling the plugs up and down and sided to side they finally locked in.
The Texas Zypher is now 100%
My thanks Mark at Wrangler Fix for being there when needed.
MY jeep sure runs a lot better with the New PCM.
