I gotta say man I love your Jeep! I love seeing another 33s build, (although yours is much more along in the build than mine, but I'm getting there!)
Its pretty incredible how far a well balanced build will go on 33s, while a well built rig on 35s will go even further. I got to experience this at moab. I must say ive learned how important uptravel is especially being on 33s. I have a good amount of up, would like a bit more down tbh since ive been lifting tires constantly, but im not gonna bother with the shock mounts until I go to 35s and outboard

It'll be amazing how much further a rig on 33s and LOCKERS will go 😉

As in 10 more feet up a select obstacle 🤣

Thank you kind sir! It's certainly nothing special, and comes with it's own set of issues. I need it to be tame as it's my DD, and my wife, on occasion, has to drive it. To be honest, I had the most fun wheeling it when it was on 31's and a 2" lift. I wheeled the crap out of that setup!

Yeah, yeah, yeah, we’ve heard it all before. When are you gonna do something about it and go back to 31’s?! 😉

I do wish I had stayed on the 31s I bought in on... but as you know, bigger always seems better

More or less just trying to find stuff to do with the Jeep that doesn't cost a left nut. My combi switch is acting up again. If I jiggle the turn signal the fogs will flicker, so Napa Eclin # 2 rears its ugly head again. I ain't warrantying a 3rd one, so I ordered a Standard Ignition replacement. I've had good luck so far with the Standard Motor products stuff.
The placement of my GMRS antenna has been bugging the snot out of me ever since I made that new bracket, only to find out I placed it too far to the right, so it was hitting the hard top glass, so I had to drill a new hole and move it to the left a bit.

This was not acceptable. I new location was in order. If the wind hit just right on the freeway, that antenna would start slapping the shit out of my hard top. Another good reason to move it.
After bouncing around a few ideas on location with @Wildman and a couple others, I finally decided to move it here.

I couldn't come up with an elegant way to route the coax, but I came up with something that may be acceptable. Went under the cowl and in thru the firewall. It wasn't easy, and I didn't want to make any hard angles with the coax, but I think my solution will be ok. I still have to put a SWR meter on it to check it. but radio checks with my local repeater are checking out good.

The guy in the driver seat is the most important aspect of a build and you did great!

Appreciate it man! Was glad I was able to hang with everyone. I just wish I had gears and lockers because with the 3.73s, manual, and open diffs I feel like a rock bouncer lol! Dad was complaining how he lost 2 fillings that trip(kidding)😂

Swapped out the combi switch today. SOP for the 3rd time, so no pics. The Standard ignition unit feels solid. Time will tell.
Cleaned up the coax for the tail light mount and made sure the grounds are good for the new antenna mount location. Tests show good.
