Ouray trip problems

I actually prefer the King Ranch > Platinum. Little bias because my father has a King Ranch 150, but it's also just a branding thing I like more. Ex: Twin Peeks may have better looking women, but I like the Hooters brand more. Who wouldn't like this:

No massage seats in the KR for 2025, have to go Platinum.

Where I come in Tex you don't buy Platinum or Limiteds you just buy King Ranch. Why? Anything above King Ranch you're flaunting yourself, showing off. Ranchers are hardworking people and King Ranch is all you need!

I have never turned on the massage seats!

So glad they finally banned it here this past June.

Is that a Canadian M101 trailer?

I bought one back in the mid 2000’s and still have it. Great little trailer for towing with a TJ or LJ.

I was with a group by and we bought 40, the LAST ones they had to sell from Canada. IIRC we paid (for 40) $675, brand new! Tires still the little nibs on the tread. I kept for several years and sold it for $2000 and the guy drove down from Dallas to San Antonio to get it. I had it Linex's, replaced the hubs with American stuff and added new wheels with 37s KM2s, I also replaced the spring shackles with some really HD stuff and new Rancho shocks. so now I have 8 wheels down and the spare in the bed of the trailer.

The Canadian model is the US model only beefed up...do not ask me what or why. I have seen in Nam the US version having he springs flat with literally thousands of lbs of ammo in them.

The trailers are tough stuff, beats any of the other stuff on the market and I sure looked hard at them before I went. Saw the $15k stainless one and if your remember that one it was a piece of JUNK...they have built with a proprietary suspension system. I came across a guy sitting alongside a trail way out in Anza Borrego. He had been for almost a week waiting on parts. HE was PISSED!

Bought mine for around that price from a club on the east coast that had purchased a bunch of em.
Had it shipped to my brother in laws shop.
Still has original camo color and I also found a NOS original poly camo tarp.
Put 33” Super Swampers on it.
Get’s lots of stares when I’m towing it.😜
The original and best off road trailers M416, M100 and Canadian M101.

I love my duallys. When I roll I am around 24-25 000 lbs, with 6000 lbs in the bed and pulling a trailer. The one thing everyone loves about F 450 is the turning radius and is very short compared to most non-commercial trucks.

1 other thing: F 450 HOLDs their value.

Yep,love the turning radius on my f450 fire dept patrol. Really nice when you need to turn around on a logging road on the side of a mountain.

lol
I’m surrounded by Teslas so just having a F-350 Diesel and the LJR makes me stand out a bit. We also have a Subaru Outback and a Volvo S 60 so it keeps the neighbors guessing.
The camouflage Canadian M101 trailer usually pushes the neighbors over the edge as well as the sweet tea in a mason jar and loud country music on when I’m working in the garage.

Damn I need to move….

Says the judgy not rancher "Texan" with a flashy 450 and a Host.

Such an odd way to find justification in how your choices are best.

My m416 makes my LJ drive even better - surprised me.

I agree on the locker sensor pin being the issue- being behind the flange and messing with engagement.

That’s what I’m thinking as the sensor has tension on it and appears to help disengage the locker or perhaps keep it from partially engaging.
Didn’t have a chance to take off the diff cover today but will tomorrow. Hoping my small mirror and a light will let me see if the sensor is in the right position.
