Howdy, Jeepsters. My 2000 TJ is 21 years old this month and the factory block heater cord has been coiled up in a seatback pocket for at least 18 of those. Now, here in the Texas Hill Country, we have single digit temps predicted for early next week and the TJ lives outdoors. I can't recall where the cord plugs in and have not been able to locate it using a lighted mirror (sky is too bright and my night vision warranty expired years ago). A search here turned up nada and my mirror search in the location shown in the factory manual was unsuccessful. Who can tell me where the bloomin' thing plugs in, so I can narrow my search?

I believe the OEM block heater was installed in place of a freeze plug. I would be looking on the drivers side of the block.

Just remembered I have one on mine that I have never used. Went out to take a pic. this is drivers side back of engine
