I have a 1998 TJ with a 4.0 and 5-speed. I have an oxygen sensor problem, and I called NTK (877.473.6767 X 2) to see if 23151 was still produced. The answer is "No", and the tech could not offer an alternate NTK sensor. Amazon sold me a NTK 23179, but that does not perform correctly.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a replacement that works?

Thanks! I'll try the Denso version. I really don't want to get into a carb and distributor retrofit, but the continuing drivability issues are unacceptable. A carb and an HEI are darn near foolproof. We don't have emissions inspections, so no telling what else might fall off.

I have a V10 F250 and kept getting a PXXXX code??, pressure differential sensor. I ordered up a NTK replacement. Installed it, cleared the code which came back multiple times. I Cleaned the system, replaced the hoses, did a full cleaning of the system and still the code. Bought a Motorcraft one. A year later and then of thousands of miles later no code. I kinda lost faith in NTK or any after market after that. OEM is the way to go when you can, hopefully the Denso fixes your issues.

I have a 99 F250/V10.

Walker worked perfectly in my 2001 F250/V10.

Didn't work in my 97. Nor did a new NGK. A used NGK out of a 2000 Sahara I was parting out works perfectly.

Best thing to do with O2s is monitor live ODB data. O2 voltage and fuel trims. A $30 ODB Bluetooth dongle and the free app Torque Lite will do the trick.

Bosch sucks.

53 pages of light reading...first post sums up part numbers. NGK is available.
