Hey Bob. I’m new to the forum and have been meaning to jump on this thread and say hello to the fellow local jeepers. I’m always doing mods during the winter, but I won’t pass up a chance to throw it together and take it out. I’m trying to to perform a mallcrawlerectomy on it. I’ve been riding solo for a while and would love to go out with other jeepers so I can test myself and my rig more. I look forward to when some of us can get together.

Pretty quiet over here. Anyone got plans for a run this month? Xmas tree run maybe? Snow? Hello, McFly!

We got a whopping 2" of snow last night. We need a decent storm before a true snow run but getting something on the calendar would be fun. How about Georgetown to Rubicon (depending on snow levels) with a stop at Uncle Tom's? Late December / Early Jan so we have some snow??

Welcome to the group @Geepum ! Uncle Toms can be fun once we get enough of the white stuff. We could also do a Mendo National run up Hull Mt. or Snow Mt. There is already snow up there, but not sure how much. My KO2's are close to racing slicks, so the snow could prove interesting for me, lol!

I hate when people ask that right now lol. It’s so ugly in it’s current state. Everything is coming off it, except the good stuff I already have on. I’m going with all forum approved suspension, armor, etc. there’s 20k in parts in the Jeep room waiting in line to go on. Finishing up driver fender install right now. I can’t even remove the crap shackles off the crap bumper because there’s no key and they are locking. Please be gentle, I’m working as fast as I can

Thank you sir! I’ve never done a snow run, but I bet that’s a blast. I was at snow mountain a month ago in my JTR. It’s my tow rig but it’s nice to wheel in when I have more sensitive butts in the passenger seat.

Judge away. Not my choice. They are Chinese hideousness. I’m putting the GenRights on now. Then I’ll get the mini boatsides and corner armor after that. Bumpers going too of course. Reinforced plate on the rear, customized motobuilt on the front

I will hopefully be giving my pig a shake down this weekend or next at Hollister if you wanna come out for a day trip.

After the shake down i definitely want to get out on a real run. Snow anybody?

This weekend is cutting it close. I can probably swing next weekend. Keep me updated. F yeah on the snow. Just say when and where.

Thank you! They get so scratched up on the fitting and installing. Im gonna try the red scratch pad and WD40 thing afterwards.

Mine was trying to take over my JKUR so got her, her own JKU. She steals the LJ once in while, along with the kid wanting to steal it all the time. I’ve started taking to bus to work to save for more Jeep parts so Ruby sits most of the week under the carport.

I feel you there. We have a 1 month away from 16 daughter that has the Jeep bug bad. I’ve started keeping my eye open for a fixer upper starter for her.
I drug an old project out of the weeds to have a gas friendly commuter for more Jeep money. It’s hard to go from a lifted Jeep to a lowered import that fits under my Jeep
