What's the story with the black boxes on the underside of the vents?Well here are the vents installed. I didn’t complete the venting holes because the hole saw was making quite a racket and my neighbors can only tolerate so much before they report me to the HOA.I’ll finish making them functional another day at a different location. They are drip pans that cause the water to drain to the sides of the engine bay.
That's what I figured. I've been contemplating doing something with JL Rubicon hood vents but was a bit concerned with water draining though them. Now that I think about it people install those big hood vents all the time with no problem.
Who holds the chunk of sheet metal in front of your grill when you drive in the rain?

Well I'm late to the party but the vent install turned out really GREAT. If you were just glancing at your Jeep I honestly think you'd miss them with them being body color matched and all. I wouldn't expect anything else from you either but just figured I offer my comment.
Your Jeep is fucking cool. I think it’s my favorite looking Jeep on here. I like the aesthetic subtlety with big capability. If I wasn’t forced to armor every square inch of my tub I’d want to do a similar theme.
