Nikki's yellow throwback Jeep

I told Nick I should just start a service where you drop your rig off and throw lots of money at me. Then we go through and fix all the little things that bug me. I didn't fix any of that stuff because he asked me to, I fixed it because it bugged me. Shit like that just annoys the crap out of me and I can only ignore it for a certain amount of time before I walk away or fix it.
I’d be afraid to drop my rig off with you, Blaine. I don’t know if I could take hearing everything wrong with it...

:)

They are going to rub. How much is what we need to figure out. We won't know until you wheel it some.
This is what I’m wanting to see, clearance under articulation. I believe @jjvw is 3.5” BS. I think he rubs just slightly and is still able to rotate the tire freely when cycling suspension. He hasn’t reported any issues out of his. This is good news.

Copy, I’m at 3.75. I’ll take some pictures when I get it under real world application

Is your shocks tuned for no hard top/ warm weather wheeling? I’ve got a medium tune and the more time I have it off road the more I think the compression is to firm. Really interested how you like yours.

She sure is looking good👍🏻... I bet you can’t stop sitting in driveway and staring at it.. I’m sure you’ve posted previously but I haven’t run across it.. where’d you get your headlights and are they LED?.. I really like the look of them!!

No they’re tuned for the weight of my rig which is heavy. I don’t take the hardtop off, I’m the weirdo who likes it on, and I have the spare, tools in the back, back seat and child seat with said child in seat. The tune is firm but sporty. I’ll run em for a while to gauge if it’s too firm or not but for now the road manners are great.

Thanks man! If only I could sit in the driveway and stare but I have to work lol. They’re KC LEDs. I love em. I ordered direct from them but you can find them anywhere. There’s pics of them on in my thread as well. They’re about 5k so not blue and not yellow. A nice clean white with a not too obnoxious cutoff
@Chris went with them as well and he’ll swear by them too.

Mine is at 3.75" BS with a 35" MTR. The rear rubs the shock body at full flex, but I can spin the tire by hand with minor effort.

Perfect! That’s what I want, because your OCD is at least equal to mine so it’s great.

Just need a yearly “see if anything bugs Blaine visit.”

Sign me up too!
When you install door panels after they have been removed, peek in the sides and make sure the panel retainers are in the little holes before you smack them home. We also found some screws that match for the driver's door panel when we took the slack out of the outer paddle latch.

Is there an adjustment in those rods or do you bend or manipulate them to remove the slack?

The rod is threaded but the steel spring clip snaps onto the threads so you just pop it off, raise the rod up to remove the slack and snap it back on.
