New guy from Texas

Hey everyone. I just purchased a 2005 TJ Unlimited. It has been a dinghy for my parent's RV for the last 8+ years and I believe it was for the previous owner as well due to already being set up with tow bar attachment and wiring. Parents are getting older and the Jeep was throwing the normal codes that indicated a PCM/TCM replacement is needed. Mark at Wranglerfix was my first call and the part will be in later this week. The second thing to be added will be Flux Off Road sliders. From there, I plan to just go have some fun with it and see what it is capable of. The eventual plan is to make it into something that I can go have fun with. The thought process now is to put a 4" Rock Jock lift and move up to 33" or 35" tires. My daily is a 2009 Tacoma and I still plan to use it when the wife goes with me and extended camping trips.

Great Jeep- have fun with it. 35 + tires are so popular around here but I bought a Jeep with 35 and went to 33s. I run the smallest tires but I can go everywhere everyone else goes… do what you like.
