Never owned jeep, rust thought? :)

Hey everyone, new to this forum and Jeep in general… & need advice. Looking to put with 2000 4.0 TJ manual, gentlemen said that the rust was pretty bad and sent these pics. I have no experience not know anyone that owns a jee. What do you guys thing? Is it really as bad as he says? I appreciate all this feedback. And thank you all!

Thank you everyone I really appreciate the feedback. But yeah, he was super honest and even told me it was pretty bad. You all are awesome for the feedback! I will be back in a few to post another on that I liked
