Help! Swapping a modern engine into a Jeep CJ-7

Hey everyone,

I recently got myself a Jeep CJ-7 and was wondering if anyone here has any experience or knowledge about engine swaps using modern engines that meet post-Euro 3 standards (european regulations). I'm based in Spain and haven’t been able to find much clear info on the topic so far.

Any info, experiences, or references, whether from Spain or elsewhere in Europe, would be super helpful. I’d really appreciate it if anyone has done something similar or knows about it.

We don’t have too many people from your neck of the woods here, we might not be able to help with the regulations (who knows, maybe somebody will surprise me!), but we can probably help with the technicals of the swap itself. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
