Need Lockable Storage Ideas

With as large as the TJ community is i'm hoping that some of you have suggestions on lockable storage ideas that might fit my situation. I now carry my 35" tire inside the bed of my LJ. The area between the tire and the back of seats is 10" deep (front to back), 34" wide and can accommodate a height of problem 14".

I want some kind of lockable storage idea so i can carry tools, jack, recovery gear, etc.... Tuffy Products was my first idea but they don't have anything that is tall, thin, vertical storage.

Also, i would consider moving the spare tire right up to back of the seats if there was a storage idea i could incorporate and the tailgate end of things as well.

I have this UWS brand ATV tool box in my Unlimited. It fits perfectly between the fender wells. It doesn’t sound like it will fit in your current configuration, but may if you move the tire up like you said. I normally have in mounted by the seatbelt anchor hole in the floor and two J hooks towards the front going into those footman loops in the floor. I also have nutserts back near the tailgate so I can move it back there if I need to have the rear seat installed. It was considerably cheaper when I bought of Amazon in 2017, by about $150.

I looked at those UWS lockers but you're correct its just a smidge too wide for what i'm trying to accomplish. I believe after hours of looking what i have found to be the closest match is the Tuffy 025-01 which is a universal fit vertical storage locker. Now i just need to decide if i want to leave my spare tire toward the back and mount this box right behind the seats or switch positions so access to the contents of the storage box will be easier.

Any lockable storage behind the spare tire will make the tire very difficult to remove. I’d be thinking some kind of rack that’s above the spare.

I bought one of those baskets that sit high up but have not installed it. Also, I do not know if my 35" spare would fit underneath it.
