Mudmaster's LJ

I'd like to try sitting in yours at some point to see if it helps with my leg position in reference to the fuel pedal. I don't think I could use the passenger side one since the seat is just touching the batter mount I have behind it. But if it made a difference on the drivers side for me that would be great.

Not a problem whenever you want to.

I don't know that being lower is the answer but anything is worth a try. In his posts he mentioned that it moves the seat back also?
Hopefully we'll meet up now that the Jeep is running.

I had to move mine lower due to the PRP seats. Not sure if they go back more. I'm 6'2" and they go back enough for me.

I have Mastercraft seats and always felt they were high too but it's been so long since I've sat in a stock seat much I've forgotten. Might have to go sit in the donor Jeep and see if I can tell a difference.

I got the seat brackets from @XCRN installed. Easy to install and a huge improvement with my PRP seats.

@Wildman If you end up wanting a set I got a few extra made.

that will definitely help, I would hit my head on the roll bar with the stock seats.
How are you mounting the lap belts to the seat brackets?

@Hamfists I am not sure if I mentioned this to you, but the little hole on the side I intended as a center location for where to mount the lap belt. But you would need to drill out the hole and weld on spacers. I have not done mine yet but when I get back from a trip this upcoming weekend ill be doing them. It will look similar to what I did to the factory risers.

I had a Tuffy one and it didn't fit. I kept the front section and cut the cup holders off and reinstalled them.

I wonder how much wider the PRP seats are compared to the Mastercraft? I had a Tuffy 8" console that fit between mine OK which was why I went with the standard width GR console instead of the narrow version.

According to both their websites they are the same width.

Mastercraft Rubicon. Mine aren't the recliner version.

Must be something in the design that is different? It was a tight fit with my Tuffy console but it fit.
