Mopar radiator still available?

I searched for a while and couldn’t find a Mopar radiator available everywhere. I’m going with Napa. We’ll see what happens in my next trip offroad later in July.

I just bought this. It arrived in a Mopar box, Mopar markings on it, looks legit.

I'm running a manual trans so I don't need the cooler fittings and would like to remove the fittings and replace with pipe plugs if possible. Are those hose fittings easily removeable and replaceable with pipe plugs? And what size plugs will fit?

I’ve been running my auto radiator on my manual, for about a year. I just left the plastic plug covers on.

I left my plastic plug covers on, too. But then later, I found that one had escaped, and there was a lot of dust getting into the hole. You might want to tape them on a little better, I wish I had.

I bought this same radiator from https://www.worldpartsdirect.com/oem-parts/mopar-engine-cooling-radiator-55037653ab for alot less than Amazon last month. I have a auto and a 06 so cooler fittings are different, so I swapped fitting from the old radiator.

I know I can just leave them as-is. I would much prefer not to have those fittings extending from the tank begging to have something hit it one and cause some sort of damage. And they look sort of like ass if they aren't being used. I know they are not in a typically visible location. I would really like to replace them with plugs.

Before I bought the 1 from Amazon, I called one of the online dealers showing that part to see if they actually had it. It might have been where you got yours, not sure. In any case, they said they had none and had no idea if or when they would have more. I find a lot of sites advertise shit they don't actually have. I also knew Amazon would be a free return if there was any issue.

Good score for you though.

I've had several episodes where I've ordered an "in stock" part. They charge my card then a week or 2 later cancel the order because they have no way to get whatever they pretend to be selling.

I wonder if you could run power steering through it?

I'd like to collect more data before I did this. We don't know the current temperature of the fluid. We don't know how much cooler it gets with independent coolers. And my suspicion is, like the Ecoboost oil "cooler"/heater it might make the fluid warmer than hot.

Suppose I need to move my GlowShift temperature probe over to my power steering. After installing all the adapters I needed to get it to stop leaking oil it's so far out of the stream it's not close to accurate.
