OK that seems unreasonable.

@MagnumV8 hit several trails over the years solo and may have some recommendations.
Also, there is a back road/easy trail that you can use to access Arches National Park and avoid the crowds. On OnX it’s called the Willow Springs Trail and Dinosaur Tracks. Check the tracks out along the way. It brings you into the park at Balanced Rock.
I’m pretty sure I saw the last time I was there in March they had Willow Springs and Dalton Wells roads closed and had a new entrance to the UtahRaptor State Park that you had to enter through to access that area and have a parks pass or pay a use fee. Just a heads up.
All the fun stuff gets ruined (capitalized) by the State.
Agreed. We used to boondock with the kids in that area all the time. Nice easy trails for them to dirtbike on and easy access. Was bummed when we arrived to see the start of the changes a couple years ago, then this year it was all closed off via the normal routes. Now we tend to camp around Dubinky Well area.
I haven’t been up 137 from 313 to access Dubinky wash area, but that looks like it’s pretty cool.

That area got hit pretty hard with the closures a couple years ago, but there is still a lot to do. Not the most difficult trails but some pretty scenic ones. Easy access to Gemini Bridges to run the trails off of there, back way into Wipeout/Sevenmile is close, 3D/Pickle, etc. It’s a fun area. Can be busy, further you get from 313 the better the campsites get but harder to get big rigs into.
Good route out there... Crazy it's already snowing all over in the mountains. We wound up going over Black Bear and coming the long way via Telluride. Buddy hadn’t seen the changing aspens before. Was dumping snow on Red Mountain, made for a fun little segment! I’ll post pictures when I grab them off my camera.
We’ve done many of the basic trails - Posion Spyder, Hell’s, Fin’s, and I did Pritchett with a bunch of you guys in May.
I haven’t run the whole trifecta - leaning towards that right now. Also, I’ve never done Top of The World, Cliffhanger, Metal Masher or Steelbender. Not sure what we’re going to do quite yet. Will likely do Elephant Hill on our way home and grab a permit Thursday.
Also, trying to figure out a new p0016 code. Doesn’t seem to be affecting performance, but alarming. I replaced the OPDA again, just because I had another spare crown unit. Still using my original sensor. Thinking about trying the Crown sensor just to see if that helps.,Code comes and goes - Jeep needs to be running for around an hour before it trips.
I inspected the cam gear and old opda (-a crown that was working fine for two years) and seemed fine. Didn’t notice any excessive wear.

Don’t tell mom, but we explored way too far in this mine today…

I'd probably vote steel Bender or metal masher, not sure I'd want to do cliffhanger alone. I've always liked metal masher I think it has some fun stuff.
Hit Hell’s Revenge for an early morning run. Just feel like bang for buck can’t be beat, so I wanted to give my friend the full Moab experience. (Buddy from Thailand is here for a few days).
Hell’s Gate almost ate my lunch and then some. Absolutely could not see once I started the ascent, the sun was brutal. I’ve never had an issue on it before, but learned how taking the wrong line is very easy. I eventually backed down and got up. This was the first of two experiences today where the sun really messed me up. Also couldn’t see on the Staircase and wound up heading left on what I thought was the exit. This was a major mistake… wound up off trail and had to do some sketchy maneuvers to get down and back on the trail. Definitely should have walked this one or at least familiarized myself before heading up it. Not my proudest moment…
At some point I jacked my antirock pretty good. I was able to bend it back close by rigging my winch to a snatch block and pulling it somewhat straight.
We hit Metal Masher and closed out with Gemini Bridges. Metal Masher was fun, with lots of lines to choose from. Stayed off of the really spicy stuff since we were the only ones out there.
Check engine light stayed off all day until the drive on the highway back. Guess the LJ just doesn’t like 70mph… everything felt and sounded fine,
Here’s a few photos…

I too would like to know what rock did me in. I don’t remember hitting anything that hard.I want to see what rock did your swaybar link in... also, where did your 3rd link go?View attachment 645316
I went to a 3 link up front when I did new arms and joints last summer.
