Utah Moab in May 2025

Looks like the Gate Keeper is similar.

Made it back home without issue - other than being exhausted. I’ve been trying to get out to Moab for 6 years for my birthday, and this is the first time I actually made it happen. Seriously, I’ve wound up in the hospital, family or work emergencies every single year. I think I made up for it this time. Very glad I made it out.

My only regret is I didn’t really to get connect with you guys outside of saying hello at the trailhead. Just had too many things I was trying to fit in. Did all the things, climbed, crawled and even got some canyoneering in. Im hoping that I might be able to connect with the Colorado guys for some trails around here this year.

It was my first time wheeling with a group - all my time before has been solo, so I was pretty stoked to learn a lot. I know a lot of it is driver and seat time, but definitely felt like I had a harder time bumping it up some things I didn’t think would hinder me as much as they did. I had to disconnect my hand throttle as it got stuck open on one of my first tries on Chewy - was hoping to get some practice with it.

Here’s some photos from yesterday - we hiked off Fins and Things to Medieval Chamber and repelled off of Morning Glory Arch, pretty fun way to do that hike!

That’s awesome, Nate. Great to have met and wheeled with you.

Cool climbing pics👍

I know what you mean about needing more time to connect with the group. This was a big year numbers wise. That was nice in that, as usual with forum members, pretty much every single person I met seemed interesting and probably enjoyable to be around. But witn so many folks, there wasn’t time to really connect with everyone.

If anyone sends me pics of my Jeep from Moab I might actually have my first submission for ROTM. 😆
I took only a few and nothing to shout about.

Might have one or two... not sure....

Will be home this week so can go through my pictures more then and get them uploaded.

I'm still in town ... whatcha thinking?

@UhOh --sorry we couldn't connect. Time was ticking and we ended up getting a timed slot entry into arches and ran some real easy trails and over to Tower Arch.

Made it home last night around 730. Unloaded and immediately went to bed.

Jeff and Victor , thanks for the spotting on Pritchett. You guys know what you're doing and it was good to finally meet you both. What looked impossible to me, these guys walk/talk you right thru it. Everyone worked together really well and Pritchett is a humbling experience. I thought our CO trails were tough, Pritchett was new and entirely different for me. Good to see some familiar faces and wheel with you guys again (@Apparition , @Mrs.Apparition , @taylormade73 , @lBasket, the CO Krew and others) and good to meet a bunch of new folks (@NashvilleTJ , @gasiorv, @Bob in Texas, @Woodrow, @Wildman, and others). Looking forward to next year already.
