Fixed my skid plate. The UCF aluminum plate has large slots for plenty of adjustments. Unfortunately the washers I selected were not up to the task...they caved in, bolts loosed and dropped. Now replaced with a double stack of grade 8 washers courtesy of Walkers Hardware in Moab...one fender, one extra thick. 1/2-12 x 1.5" on my 97 for reference.

Oh an escalator bounce picture...

And a completely uneventful crawl...

UCF should supply a slotted washer. Good job fixing. I hope the bolt head stays out of the rocks.

sorry to see this but glad you're ok. Typical video probably doesnt do it justice, seemed to come out of nowhere.

Is it too soon to say stretch and tons/fodeez? jkjk ive watched the video a few times and crazy how it went so quick.

A stretch on a TJ would add some needed stability. I fear some of these obstacles are changing so much due to bigger tire rigs that soon 35’s won’t be enough. It did happen fast. Totallly unexpected. I have a video going down that gives some perspective on how steep it is.

Hello everyone if we could get a sound off for who is doing trifecta in what direction tomorrow that'd be dope. Sounds like lots of people are changing their minds and we want to know who we are waiting for

mine came with a conical bolt head like a lug nut

That seems weird for a slot. How is a conical bolt head going to mate well with a slot? A slotted washer like Blaine offers for the slotted front control arm bracket at the axle would be right. Otherwise a large flanged bolt head or thick washer that won’t deform.

Be there or be square. Also being on time so we have an idea of how big our group is actually gonna be might be nice 🤪

We are all back this time and not out speed running hells!
