I have been having random misfires when I my TJ gets hot, only when driving on hot days and generally long drives. If you’ve ever had this problem you’ll know jeep put out a TSB about this problem because it’s the heat soak and vapor lock issue. I have installed the DEI kit that insulates the fuel rail and the injectors, It still misfires when hot, does anyone have any ideas to keep the fuel cool? I have played with the idea of header wrap and only wrapping the top half to hopefully keep it from rotting the headers to fast.
Update: I replaced all 6 injectors with the Bosch 4 hole ones that are recommended, I have wrapped the fuel line in insulation that’s underneath the intake manifold and added some insulation underneath the fuel rail in hopes to prevent heat from rising
I even lifted my hood up about 3/4 inch in hopes to catch some cool air
I do have a cyl 2 misfire even in cool weather but When it gets hot all cyl miss
Honestly I’m out of ideas, it’s not really practical to park my Jeep when it’s hot
