Milwaukee Portable Inflator

I’ve got the Makita brand inflator very similar to that one. It works fantastic. Now I never turn my shop compressor on any more unless I’m using an air tool. With two mowers, one SxS, and three vehicles that puppy saves rolling up hoses and listening to a loud compressor running.

Neighbor has a Milwaukee inflator. I used my Makita for a bit on my TJ and the wife's JK. 90 minutes to air up eight 35s.

Eventually installed dual VIAIRs under the hood. That plus a Morrflate and it's less than 15 minutes for two vehicles.

They're great for topping off tractor tires and I don't take any of my trailers without it.

There are 2 Milwaukee inflators. One is M12, the other is M18. They are not even close to the same tool.

That is my main squeeze for airing back up. I have 32" tires and I can refill all 4 tires about 3 times (14 to 32psi) on a single 6AH battery.
I really like mine.

Other than sustained use heat build up, my main question was answered by @Apparition in post #9. It sounds like the shorter advertised fill up times will reduce any heat concerns I have.

Make sure you get it with the batteries and charger for $199 or one of the other deals instead of the inflator alone for $179.

Correction, I use an 8Ah battery (not a 6Ah) to get three rounds of inflation.

It does get a bit warm, but nothing crazy. After I fill my 4 35's from 10 psi up to 25-30, she can use a break, but I've never had it go into a thermal shutdown either. For me, Its replaced my desire to put an onboard compressor in. I run battery tools, and it comes with a nozzle for blow-off use.

Thanks for the information everyone! My inflator, batteries, case, and Locking hose nozzle were all delivered today. The 4 memory settings is very nice. Tested it on setting the tire pressure to 26 PSI and it works as it should.

The was a 1 PSI discrepancy between the compressor and my guage, but that could be the cheap Craftsman digital guage. Also, the Jaco locking hose extension @red02tj recommended is very nicely made. It's more expensive than some other alternatives, but was designed in USA and made in Taiwan.

OK, I need the link for that case. My pump always just rolls around in the back.
