Lol, I got two in the Navy.
Then I got my first one in the civilian world and they said, "OK, who's driving you home after your procedure? "
I said, "I'll drive myself home."
The nurse looked at me like I was stupid and then politely explained, "You can't drive yourself home after being under anesthesia, it's dangerous and not allowed. You're going to be groggy."
Then came the look of horror and disgust when I told them, "OH! I didn't know you were gonna put me under. The Navy doesn't do that, they set up a TV so you can watch while they drive the bus up your asshole. "
It really complicated things to have to coordinate with the wife to take a half a day off too.

I've had 3 so far, due the 4th this coming spring. I've never done the anesthesia, I just lay on my left side, watch the TV, and yak with the Doc.
