Yeah, I'm sorry for your hell, brother, I really am.
But it takes a lot more to get a couple SM2s out of the launcher on a Cruiser.
It really does take a series of pretty good fuck ups by several members of the watch team to launch on a plane that should be squawking IFF.
I don't know exactly what went down. I wasn't there, but I do know that system, you can't just start pickling off missiles.

One article I just read says that one person is claiming the plane was shot down by enemy fire not the ship.

Yes I totally agree that this is a way worse fuckup than mine and I don't understand how it could happen either. I'm sure we won't ever really find out what happened.
