Matt's TJ build from Chandler Arizona

It probably didn't help because the vents are in the wrong spots to take advantage of the hood aerodynamics and under hood hot spots.

Yeah that would make sense if that's the case lol. I just seen a lot of good reports on it and it came with the Jeep when I bought it. Now I know better.

Boom. The Dana 30 is straight again!

Ran into the infamous crap oil pressure sensor today. This 4.6 stroker engine only has about 3000 miles on it. After the 40 minute freeway ride to the trail head today oil pressure went to zero at a stop light. Pulled into a gas station and if revved the pressure went back up. Running temp was 220* on the freeway. Checked oil and no coolant in oil.
When I got home I let the Jeep cool down for about twenty minutes. Fired it back up, got it back up to 212-ish and oil pressure was close to 10 psi at oil per the sensor.
As i probably won't be trusting the sensor again i will be ordering a mechanical pressure guage to mount in the cab with braided steel line.

Took my wife out to Bulldog Canyon today and had a great time. Not too hot. Also found out why I should be looking at hydro assist on 35's lol. Got slightly dropped into a rock and it did not want to turn at all(wasn't even that bound up). Other than that the new ZJ steering was great. Definitely showed how worn out the stock TJ stuff was.
