Would any have any links on how these map sensors are supposed to read? So my 97 2.5l is an early model 97 meaning it takes the round pin map sensor. I'm having connection issues in the plug and cannot replace the pigtail (they don't make them and we're discontinued.) The later model tj's had a flat pin map sensor and I can find those pigtails/sensors all day long. Would anyone here know how these sensors read that way I could study up and see if I could just wire in the flat pin sensor? Also, does anyone have any links on how the map is supposed to read on a volt meter? Thanks.

I can say this. One is ground, one 5V power from the ecm, and the other signal back. I googled TJ MAP sensor wiring diagram and found a few pics but not knowing what colors wires you have its hard to be sure whats what. The one Walker MAP has all blue wires, however If you matched up whats on your rig you could make the connections confidently. The YJ one has black, red and green. That what your harness has?

It seems to be testing fine since I've pulled it apart and got it all cleaned up. Jeep runs a ton better now but has an inconsistent miss when driving over rough road. My codes are 27)
  • Injector 3, and/or 4, and/or 5, and/or 6 output driver does not respond properly to the control signal.
And 43)
  • Peak primary circuit current not achieved with maximum dwell time.
  • Misfire detected in one or more cylinders 1 through 6.
All my injectors are firing properly per noid light while sitting and idling, however I can't get it to replicate the miss while parked.... 🙄
