Lost dash and HVAC lights

Greetings y'all! I'm having a lighting issue, all of a sudden I've lost my dash light illumination and HVAC lights. The warning lights on the dash work fine, turn signals and such, but no dial illume for the gauges, HVAC lights gone too.

The headlights all work fine but when I try to turn the pull headlight switch, it doesn't even dim the mileage indicator. Help?

Might want to throw a headlight switch at it.

Check grounds, battery terminals...

But my guess is you've got a bad or corroded headlight switch.

There's a little button on top of the switch...if you depress it you can pull the knob out and unbolt the switch.

It might take 2-3 switches to find a working one.

Replied in your dash light thread. But in case anybody finds this in a search...

Check fuse 1 if marker lights are also out.

If just dash/cluster lights are out, on early TJs (97-02) check fuse 12, on later TJs there could be a burnt out circuit on the cluster PCB. There are threads covering that which might also be found in a search.
