Hi all,

Looking to purchase the correct specific radio my TJ was originally sold with.

It is a 2005 TJ Rubicon manual

I got the following from the build sheet:

- AM/FM COMPACT DISC RADIO W/CHGR CTRL
- 7 SPEAKERS INC SUBWOOFER/TWEETERS

Not sure if this is sufficient to identify the exact radio model it had? The reason is that I see some have cassette, cassette and CD or with sliders audio tuning and some with digital audio tuning.

Thanks for any help!

My 2005 TJ Sport. Gotta assume it'd be the same for a Rubicon.

Mine had the following on the buildsheet:
RAAC - All Radio Equipped Vehicles
RBKS - AM/FM Compact Disc Radio w/Chgr Ctrl
RCUS - 7 Speakers Inc Subwoofer/Tweeters

Not sure if it was an option in '05, but my '06 LJR had the 6 disc option plus satellite (Sirius, I think).
Several on Ebay if you're looking to buy.

That's the 6 disc changer with 7 speaker system with a sub in the console, speaker pods with a 4 inch driver and a separate tweeter in each side of the dash, and 5 1/4 speakers in the roll bar pods.

Did you get this figured out?

I've had luck on eBay and Facebook when it comes to finding a used one. There's also , 1FactoryRadio.com, but they are expensive and get mixed reviews.

Since your build sheet doesn't mention a cassette player my bet is you have the RBK radio which is the only one without a cassette and changer controls. Its Mopar p/n is 5091556AI from the 2005 Mopar Parts Book.
