Georgia Looking for local members to test fit new seat foam and OEM type seat cover

Might I suggest TJ steering wheels as another future item for Summit to make. Most of us have worn out or getting close to being worn out steering wheels. I haven't been able to find any place that has new replacements, only ill fitting wraps or covers.

I'd like to see Summit take a crack at producing some decent door seals for the TJ series. I have yet to find anyone making decent aftermarket replacements, all seem to use incorrect rubber types and suffer from poorly formed seal features...which basically amounts to them not doing their job.

i live in a literal rain forest and have never had an issue with any jeep door seal including on my 20 year old tj. what arent yours doing that they should lol

Ok, I just received the first samples of the OEM type seat covers today.
97-2002 in saddle/tan and med gray - so two pairs of seat covers to be installed for fitment .

No charge for these, I just need for you to install and lets review quality , fit and any additional colors and or material changes. The material is similar to a military type fabric. These are OEM type seat covers not a slip on. I'm striving for top quality and fitment for these applications.

Just thought I would jump back into this thread as I have been doing a lot of work on my 98 TJ. @Kevo1966--I purchased the Summit Racing seat cushion replacement and hog tie pliers. Folks, EVERYONE should do this. Now, I did buy a better factory seat off of Marketplace to replace my fabric, but the cushion has truly been a game changer. So much more stability and install was not too bad. I bit tight stretching the fabric back on, but since the cushion was brand new, I expected that. Either way, GREAT product.

Now I am considering adding seat covers as well (or should I say replace the RC neo covers that I am not a fan of). I want more of the standard fabric type.

@Kevo1966 — Are you still offering anything on black seat covers to test out or rate? I would be glad to do that, especially after replacing the cushion too. Let me know.

Right now I am close to deciding and think I will go with the Caltrend Sports Tex type. Anyone out there have this for more than a year and can share current pictures and fit? The "new" pictures I have found on the forum make this look excellent in fit and style, just curious if they maintain the tight fit over time? Thanks everyone!

I'm a new member and have a 2006 LJ, the seat foam was worn out so I had those made and they have been well received. I work for Summit Racing and live in the Atlanta area. I have just had the upper seat back foams made and have just received some samples of OEM type seat covers, made in a Durable material. I was hoping to find some local members to test fit them and I always welcome ideas to make parts that are needed. I have been in the Restoration Industry for many years and have now became part of the Jeep community. Let me know how to help the Jeep community with their parts needs.

Thanks
Kevin

I'm late to this thread, but I'm curious. Are these OEM style, like my diamond-pattern 97 seats?

Any updates on seat covers? I am getting ready to purchase a set and wondering if these will be available soon or if there are near production prototypes available to purchase?

Anyone get to test fit them and have any feedback on fit, material etc?

Interested specifically for 03-06 seats.

Thanks
