Colorado Krew Hangout

Just wait until DJ realizes there is no god and he lives in the matrix, and learns how to spell.

I didn't think to ask him which god he finds in the San Jauns and can he offer any evidence that it is there. 😉

Maybe the same phenomena that some report in Sedona?

Amazing what fresh air and some physical activity does to the mind :)

I've been to Sedona a couple of times with the family and toted the LJ along. Cool and scenic wheeling spots. Plenty of Boulder weirdo hippie types if that's your thing. If not, those folks are avoidable.
It's a neat place to visit.

Depends on the Boulder weirdo hippie. I like true dirtbag hippies. Just not the north face wearing pumpkin spice drinking subaru driving hippies that have taken over the state.

I'd love to make it down there eventually. Climbing, biking and offroading paradise. Too hot for me though.

Does anyone do a vehicle storage vault locally? I might look to store my Jeep part of the year to free up some of my pretty limited space.

Only storage units or the trailer/rv parking. A storage unit that could fit my jeep was $300/mon. I've found trailer/rv parking for as low as $60/ mon, but it's just outdoor parking in a gated lot

I've officially joined team TJ. Technically my son has but my wife and I are the majority shareholders. He's got a few months before he gets his permit so I have some time to sort out any issues. At the moment the decision was somewhat long term. I might buy him out down the road and build it up. Not sure. I may have an increased presence (questions) here in the future.

For that price difference I'd buy a nice cover and park it outside lot

Welcome, you found a great forum. Everyone here will help you save a ton of money if you can do basics. Then they will turn around and convince you to spend $1000s

I ran the North and Middle Forks of The Swan River and Georgia Pass last weekend. The bobsled chute on the North Fork has been filled in. Also, the floor collapsed in the cabin at the top and it has been stripped clean of everything. On the Middle Fork, there were the 8 X 8 boards across the river by the bridge. The boards and the bridge are both gone and they have widened the banks of the river. I guess for more water flow. Pretty disappointing seeing as the other cabin collapsed a few years ago as well. It was still a great day of wheeling. We saw about 15 mountain goats between the North and South Fork trails. They were walking down the trail towards us and then around us, looking like they were saying "what's up? We're having a great time too." Tons of flowers as well. It was a really good day.
