I definitely won't make it for this weekend. I need to drop the back of the engine down to get to the sensor.

I wasn't sure if you have anything special in the way. On mine - after chasing the PCM issue however long ago I used to check/swap mine out on the regular and can do it on the ground in a couple minutes - so my bearing of what it takes on anything else might be off.
 
In other news, I changed out my plugs cap and rotor in an attempt to clear the misfire code. The plugs that were in there were set at around 22-25 thou where the spec is 35. Not sure if that was enough though as they were clean and in good shape.

I take it on a test drive for a long drive and NO codes were thrown. I get to the emissions station and only one car in line..... Yeah baby!

I pull up and their effing machine won't connect to the OBD port. 🤬🤬🤬🤬

I hook up my personal OBD dongle and show that it works. They moved the jeep to the other lane and tried that machine and it friggen worked. Now all I have to do is pass the emissions test. They just pull the Jeep forward and give me a PASS certificate. Woooohoooo!

But WTF, no readings on the paper. But it's a PASS.

So why the fuck do I even need to do this? Insane.

But it passed.

...and my horn quit working again. Jeep Life.
