Novak Conversions Jeep Wrangler TJ radiator

Colorado Krew Hangout

Yeah, right at the magnolia mill. I'm not sure if I am going yet or not. My sister is coming in to town and wants to go to the Renaissance festival...

She's bringing friends though so maybe that'll work.

Hope you can make it! The line to get into the ren fest is insane nowadays

drove up Quarry part of the rainbow falls section. very sxs heavy and one Jeep rental 😝

Debating if I do my mini cooling system overhaul this week or just deal with the slow overheating this weekend and not risk it 🤔

you can always turn interior heating on if it starts to over heat

Well the heat stops working too at idle lol. I think my water pump isn't pumping anymore. It survived Moab like that just revving it or turning it off but it'd be nice to not have to. But idk if I can get it all done in a week without something else turning out broken as is tradition

Are you sure your system has enough coolant? Check the radiator, not just the overflow bottle.

Mine was doing similar stuff. Overflow bottle was half full, but radiator was way low. When I topped it up, it stopped overheating at idle. I replaced the radiator cap too, in case it wasn't letting it suck coolant back in from the overflow bottle.

I’m a short bus rider and was able to do the cooling system. Hardest part was bolt on fan clutch and I’m sure someone in here can tell you an easier way than I did it . Give yourself a day

I'll check while I'm at it, I'm gonna run some thermocure through it and flush it

It's the unknown of whatever else breaks and I need to get parts for that worries me!!

I'm Guessing its a YJ
with a very weird step-side

I didn't stop long enough to look, guessing it spent the winter out there. Was pretty stripped and sitting on rocks. Trail crews just opened that area yesterday. Tight section... without wheels no idea how anyone is going to get it out of there

I’m in the mode to get all the little nuisances fixed that i see that and wonder what little parts could i salvage off of it. 😂
